Server Virtualization
One of the biggest current trends is virtualization. This has mainly been driven by VMware. Our engineers are VMware Certified Professionals and have hands-on experience as VMware users. They have led virtualization projects ranging from a 15 server consolidation to a 200 server consolidation.
We also offer Capacity Planner assessments. These assessments analyze your environment for up to 30 days. The goals of this assessment are to:
- Provide you with an accurate picture of your current server utilization
- Identify servers that are good or poor candidates for virtualization
- Provide you with scenarios that allow you to see how different choices in the virtualization project can change your environment
Desktop Virtualization
Businesses today require a stable configuration of workstations for both internal and remote employees. AdviStor's implementation of desktop virtualization provides a centrally managed, on-demand solution, allowing users the flexibility they require while enabling IT to control costs and increase availability. Desktop virtualization will increase users' ability to access their data, lower data management costs, extend refresh cycles, increase security, and even reduce utility costs (by powering down host servers when the load declines).
Storage Implementation
Our engineers are certified and have performed numerous implementations of the storage solutions we sell. Even if you are 90% comfortable implementing a device yourself, we offer phone support to get you through the other 10%.

Assessments
AdviStor offers assessments of current VM, backup, storage, and server infrastructure. The reports we generate from these assessments help you with forecasting, bottleneck identification, and identifying possible points of failure. Our engineers will work with you to analyze these reports and provide you with suggestions for remediation.
